Megan Dong began her lacrosse career at Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and played on the girls varsity lacrosse team for 4 years. Initially playing midfield, she eventually transitioned to attack and alternated between positions when needed. Under the guidance of Long Island Hall of Famer George Baron, she became Co-Captain in her senior year and was awarded the team MVP award.
In the summer of 2007 and 2008, Megan represented New York City in the Empire State Games.
After graduating high school, Megan attended Baruch College for a degree in accounting. While pursuing her studies, she really wanted to continue with lacrosse and give back to the sport that influenced who she is today.
Therefore, Megan joined the coaching staff of QOL on April 2009 and has continued to instruct young girls on the fundamentals of the sport. She also participated as a Field Coach at the 1st Annual RIPA/Nike Summer Lacrosse Camp in the summer of 2012.
Megan is also a sports enthusiast, who spends her free time dragon boating, running, snowboarding, kickboxing and rock climbing/bouldering.
