Joseph Albines played at the first ever PSAL lacrosse program in NYC at Jamaica High School. Through this four-year playing career he twice proudly represented the NYC Empire State Team and was named team captain. As a senior at Jamaica HS, 1989, he was named team captain by legendary coach George Baron.
His collegiate lacrosse career continued at Queens College, having competed on the varsity lacrosse team as a midfielder freshmen year then transitioning successfully to attack for his remaining three years. While playing for the Knights he was selected team captain his senior year. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Communications in 1996.
